Day 22: cookies

I brought all the cookies home from our cookie exchange because I knew my little brother still has a fast metabolism and a demanding sweet tooth. His abilities astound me. Between he and my mom, all of the cookies were gone in a few hours. So when I went to take a cookie for this challenge I had to resort to the store bought cookies.  I must say though that they're quite delicious.

I ate the cookie while reading about how poverty affects children. It's a bit of a depressing topic, so the cookie helped boost my mood.

Day 21: Santa came

It seems like some of us were doubtful that we would get a picture for the challenge today. I for one was about to head to the North Pole to find Santa myself. That would have made for a good story though. It was a qwinkydink that I was able to come across Santa in a round about way. I woke up from a nap and just turned on the TV and The Santa Claus just had started. So I snapped a couple of pictures of Tim Allen scaring the first Santa off the roof.

Like Granny Eyre, I wasn't quite sure where I would find Santa today. I did put all the ornaments on the tree today though (the family Christmas decorations are a slow process) and I found several Santa ornaments, mostly ones my mother had made herself. So today I took a couple snaps of two of the Santa ornaments I found. If we had all our Christmas stuff out there would probably be more Santas to choose from.

Day 21: Santa Claus is coming to town!

Today's challenge was to find Santa. I wasn't sure where I would find him since my family didn't really decorate for Christmas. I was surprised to come home and find a four foot tree set up. I did find Santa though, just not at home. We went to the store and I found this Santa note. I didn't know Santa made money!

On another note, I also found some pine cones since I skipped day 19. I really want to but some of these, but I'm waiting until after Christmas when they go on sale. I just love the smell of cinnamon.
