Catch Up: Days 13-15

Today is a catch up day because for some reason I have been distracted by many other things. So here it goes.

Day 13: Presents
As all of you know we had our annual Christmas party on Sunday at Martha's house. It was very enjoyable and quite yummy. Here is a picture of our presents all huddled together.

Day 14: Hot Drink
My hot cocoa in a nice mug of Granny Eyre's.

Day 15: Decorations
I am posting two pictures for today's challenge because I couldn't decide which decorations I liked better. So for your viewing pleasure...

Day 13: Presents

I really enjoyed watching everyone open presents yesterday at our annual Christmas party. It was so much fun laughing and being merry with my fellow Twenty-Somethings! Plus, Martha S. has the cutest Christmas decorations at her house, it really put me in the Christmas spirit! Speaking of Christmas, it's only a 11 days away!! How did that happen? I'm heading home today and I think my dad and I will cut down a Christmas tree for the house tomorrow. And I'll get to decorate!

Speaking of presents, below is a photo of the gifts before they were unwrapped, they looked pretty!
And below that a photo of all the goodies I received! Granny Eyre mentioned we have gotten to know each other well enough that we have gotten really good at giving good gifts. I agree. I'm very excited to use (and decorate with) the things I was given! I'll post about the cookies soon, including sharing my recipe. Keep checking back!

Day 5: Red

Meet Miss Ellie. She is my adorable, chunky little second cousin (I think we're second cousins..) Anyway, she's too cute. And she was wearing red pants and a big red bow. I got to hold her at the family get together tonight.

My aunt hosts an annual Christmas get together for all the ladies in the family. All my Mom's sisters and their daughters and granddaughters come. It's a fun get together. We also bring an item that is usually a craft of some kind and do a dirty Santa. At two different points I had some really cute gifts but they got stolen from me and I ended up with a chia pet...haha  Even though I didn't go home with a cute craft, it was a great night! Also, Mom wore a ridiculous Christmas sweater. Check it out below.

I hope y'all had fun Saturday nights too!
